My Favorite Albums on Vinyl
I think a lot of us have moments when we discover some aspect of culture from another time period we *really* wish we had been alive for. For me, that’s basically the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Granted, there was a ton of BS going on in those decades I’m not a fan of BUT I have such a special place in my heart for music from those times.
During those decades in particular, vinyl was really the way to go for personal music listening (actually, I think for a while it may have been the only way to go). With today being National Vinyl Record Day, I’ve rounded up a few albums from these years and more I wish I could have listened to first hand right on our family record player. If you don’t happen to own all these (a dream honestly) I’ve linked them as well as also compiled them onto a Spotify playlist embedded at the very end of this post!
This is by no means an exhaustive list but it certainly hits on my very favorites. If you have any you think ought to be on here please let me know - I’m always down for discovering new music! I hope you enjoyed today’s post and as always, thanks for reading!
June/July Playlist
Somehow we are already over a week into August and I’m not really sure what happened to summer!
Typically I have shared my playlists on Insta every Monday but honestly that was really hard to keep churning out killer playlists, so instead, I will be rounding up my monthly playlists moving forward! This time round I’ve added June AND July since both were shorter mixes.
